Born and raised in Spartanburg, South Carolina, violinist Hayden Green began his musical training at age five and has since cultivated a career distinguished by expressive artistry, technical refinement, and a deep commitment to musical connection.

Hayden currently studies under Shannon Thomas at Florida State University, where he is a Merit Scholarship recipient. His artistic development has been shaped through work with renowned teachers and performers, including Carolyn Huebl, Sandy Yamamoto, Lynn Chang, Jay Christy, Jackie Tso, and Mary Irwin, as well as chamber coachings with the Miró Quartet, Balourdet Quartet, Verona Quartet, and Arianna Quartet.

In 2025, Hayden was awarded First Prize in the Grand Prize Virtuoso “Paris” International Music Competition and will make his international solo debut at the Opera Bastille in Paris, France, in December 2025.

A devoted chamber musician, Hayden is a founding member of the Canta Trio, with whom he performs in recital series, competitions, and outreach engagements. An active orchestral and solo career complements his chamber work.

Hayden has appeared as a soloist with the Spartanburg Philharmonic, Piedmont Chamber Orchestra, and the Spartanburg Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and has performed on notable stages including Carnegie Hall, Opera Bastille in Paris, and Twitchell Auditorium, where he has been featured multiple times as a soloist. He has held leadership positions in several orchestras and collaborates regularly with regional professional ensembles.

Rooted in his Southern upbringing and guided by a genuine passion for musical storytelling, Hayden strives to bring authenticity, depth, and emotional resonance to every performance.
